Are there any other fees not listed in the table above?
Yes. There is an application fee of $150 per student. In addition, all of our payments are processed through FACTS Tuition Payment Services. They have fees paid directly to them for this service.
If you are paying annually or semi-annually, you will be charged $25.
If you are paying 3 or more payments during the year (quarterly or monthly), you will be charged $55.
These fees are charged approximately within one week of re-enrolling.
What payment plans are available for tuition?
We offer several payment plans, including annual, semi-annual, quarterly and monthly to accommodate different financial needs. Please see the aditional fees to determine what our FACTS Payment Processor will charge for your selected option.
Are there any discounts for siblings?
No, there are not currently sibling discounts available.
What is included in the student fee?
Included in the Student fees figure above: Book Usage Fees, Parent Teacher Student Fellowship (PTSF) Fee, Upper School Activity Fee, Upper School Retreat, Upper School Protocol Training, and Grammar School Field Trips. In addition, every student will receive a yearbook.
What is not included in the student fee?
Not included in the Student fees figure above: School Uniforms, Grammar School Before & After Care fees, Upper School Retreat electives, Soiree tickets, 9th grade trip, Senior trip, athletic fees, NILD therapy, Upper School field trips, college road trips, club fees and honor society fees. Please note other fees may apply and you will be notified accordingly.
How do I pay for extra/additional fees throughout the year?
Extra or additional fees for activities such as athletics or field trips will be assessed through FACTS and can be paid through that tool.
Can I Apply for Financial Aid?
Absolutely! There is assistance available to families who demonstrate need. You may apply for tuition assistance beginning February 1st. An application must be submitted to receive an offer of assistance.
There is a $40 non-refundable application fee. Our Financial Aid is handled by a 3rd party administrator. Please complete the application by clicking here.
Some Things to Know:
- If you have never completed a tuition assistance application with FACTS Giving & Aid, select New User and Create an Account, or sign in using an established user name and password.
- To add a school, use Summit’s zip code 23693 to find and select Summit Christian Academy, Yorktown, VA.
- Check all boxes regarding Children’s Tuition Fund – Virginia (this application will be used for both school tuition assistance calculation and potentially qualify your student(s) for the Children’s Tuition Fund – Virginia (CTF))
